I like to explore new industries, and I like to learn new things. I've worked in the financial industry (GoCardless), the video game industry (Blizzard Entertainment), academia (if one could say that), the travel industry (Duffel), and now in the incident management industry (incident.io).

I've been a system administrator, network administrator, software engineer, systems engineer, and engineering manager; built, maintained, and grew teams across a wide range of functions and disciplines, such as office IT, product delivery, security, data infrastructure, and infrastructure teams. I've worked with datacenters directly (and indirectly), and with cloud providers. I've helped build startups, and I've also helped large companies scale.

When I'm not working, you can find me visiting a new place, hiking a new mountain, or enjoying a video game. Or writing rust code.
